MySQL has been making great strides and I think now is the time to consider adding support for MySQL in TinyERP. All of my other application use MySQL and it would be easier for me personally if I could also use MySQL with TinyERP. MySQL has released their version 5.0 and very soon will release version 5.1. MySQL also has many other great technologies that work well such as very good new, statement-based and row-based, Replication and a new scriptable Proxy Server that can split data traffic based on any number of criteria. These make MySQL very reliable, very flexible and very scalable. All of which is becoming very important even for SME.
