You might want to separate each company into different instances running from different ports, however, to increase their isolation from each other, though you still couldn't prevent database name clashes (you couldn't have two databases in different companies called 'test', for example, in 4.2.0 rc2, even though you could protect data in one company's database from being accessed by another).
