I feel that the request system is ideal for most businesses.  In some
businesses there is no need for an employee to have an email account
but the need for internal messaging is important.  I would like to see
broadcast and mailing list functions in the request system so that
internal issues that need attention will get it and documented.

For example an issue with a product or partner that is of great
importance could be broadcast to all users or just sales people via a
list and still link to the product or vendor.
