Thanks very much for your post! I didn't think it looked too difficult. I have servers with everything else except that going, as you say, for years with no probs, lvm on raid 5 with hot spares.
I did plan to drbd the whole thing (except configs), but you have not done that. Could you tell me why? Since it's at the block level I couldn't see a problem. What did I miss about this (if you have the time).
