It is unclear if Tiny plans to release migration module for OpenERP. It is
unclear is it open-sourced or what :) ? We are working on the module and
evaluating it's performance and clearing major bugs. Yes we have not decided
yet if we will release this in the near future with under GPL. So people who
are interested in it prior to release are welcome to purchase implementation,
and will pay for the implementation services consumed (need 3 hours - pay for
3, need 33 pay for 33) not the licence (unlike Tiny's shared funding projects),
And receive open-sourced code, and if you are able to service other peple with
the module - you are welcome doing it on your own (again unlike Tiny's shared
funding projects), without restrictions.

About cerification - I believe that customer's primary need is solution to his
problem not the certification. Just think of myriads of software that are not
certified by MS, and still perfectly fits Windows. Just think of OpenERP
itself. To me it is just one of those tricks from Tiny's marketing people.

And just think of all those people from all around the world who can't afford
to pay 100EUR/h, the Tiny's rate. But maintenace (with some closed modules) and
certification is just another thing where people are forced to have, to work
properly.

Again no hard feelings, OpenERP is great project, but not so open minded as it
should be. Tiny's doing things just like we do.

Best regards,
sraps
