I'm not very far along myself and I've been using the gtk client exclusively. The current version built and installed cleanly and seemed about the same speed as the gtk client over all. Some things faster, some slower -- subjectively -- I didn't measure anything and any difference was slight anyhow.
Looks much nicer of course, because it matches the rest of a kde desktop ;-) koo.rc could use a dot in front of it. Layout isn't quite the same, stretched one of my views a little vertically. That container has 6 cols, the name string and widget are supposed to use only 4 followed by a new line. Maybe it expects only four cols? Sorry, that's as much as I can test it really. I've done some pyKDE in the past so I know you've done one heck of a lot of work on this too! Very nice. I really miss signals/slots and validators... I'll definitely be coming back to koo in the end. http://gemlog.ca/test/kooVsGtkLayout.png ------------------------ Regards, Paul Evans -------------------- m2f -------------------- -- http://www.openobject.com/forum/viewtopic.php?p=39025#39025 -------------------- m2f -------------------- _______________________________________________ Tinyerp-users mailing list http://tiny.be/mailman2/listinfo/tinyerp-users
