There are at least three problems here. First, Tiny often introduce new words that aren't quite correct in English, for example 'futur'. This could be stopped if Tiny had the inclination and the processes. Second, in some areas the terms may not be correct, for example 'Upstream traceability'. It may be too late to change that. Third, several terms differ between GB English and US English and, no doubt, other countries' use of English (I'm thinking of 'Creditors' and 'Accounts Payable' for example). So I propose to clients that they create an en_GB translation file and put whatever terminology they like there. They can put their own words for their own processes, which can be very important in improving the acceptance of a new Open ERP system. ------------------------ Regards, Geoff Seath Solutions Ltd (http://www.seathsolutions.com) -------------------- m2f -------------------- -- http://www.openobject.com/forum/viewtopic.php?p=45890#45890 -------------------- m2f -------------------- _______________________________________________ Tinyerp-users mailing list http://tiny.be/mailman2/listinfo/tinyerp-users
