As the OpenbravoPOS integration you mention, that's almost a non issue: you''ll 
be able to integrate OpenbravoPOS to OpenERP in a few days only. Indeed, 
Openbravo distribute a Kettle ETL transformation to do that; we just improved 
the Kettle connection to OpenERP significantly (it's actually a revolution 
since you can access to the full OpenERP API from Kettle), so picking the 
transfo file from Openbravo and changing it a bit, and eventually using the 
base_sale_multichannels module from OpenERP will allow you to integrate with 
OpenbravoPOS quite easily.

(be careful, we just fixed an issue in JRuby yesterday, so you would have to 
grab laster JRuby with git to have it working), we will package that better in
