Hi,

I'd like to improve my reporting in two ways in my openerp system.
- Change invoice layout
- Pull out lists into a spreadsheet.

There are many different options I've come across, and was wondering:
- Have I missed any?
- which are really current?
- which are recommended/actively used by the community?

--- list --

- Core reporting: OO Writer is used to generate a RML template, which in turn
is used to generate a pdf printable report. Can be pretty tricky and time
consuming to adapt?

- base_report_creator (core plugin)

- Axelor Microsoft-Excel: where is this? No longer available?

- The OpenOffice.org module (Shared Funding Project) (500 euros)
  talks to the module base_report_designer.

base_report_model is probably related to this too?
  Seems nice.
  >> Is this worth the money, does is work perfectly? Is the shared funding not
paid by now?

- c2c_reporting_tools: library for creating reports
  >> Any community experience?

- data export to OO Calc (included in Koo)
https://bugs.launchpad.net/openobject-client/+bug/399278

- jasper_report module

- report_openoffice Create report templates using OO and upload to
Openerp..

  >> Seems like a better way to modify the core reporting, any community
experience?

Thanks in advance,

Sean
