Hi blue2 my openerp-server shell script file looks like:
#!/bin/sh cd /usr/local/lib/python2.6/dist-packages/openerp-server exec /usr/bin/python2.5 ./openerp-server.py $@ I could not find the other script or demon as you have put it, you have mentioned with the other statements... the path you mentioned /etc/init.d/ was also not on my hard drive... i assume karmic directories are different than hardy. did you install yours from the synaptic or the source? i had installed the 5.0.5 ver. from the synaptic for the learning period (before taking on the 5.0.9) and attaching files was no problem.
