@GEM thank you for your answer nevertheless, saving a view with module recorder is the easy case. So easy that it wouldn't be much longer to cut and paste it manually. My question relates to structured data and workflows. I want to import purchase/sale orders which generate invoices and pickings and get paid and delivered. Recording a manual operation when doing this doesn't generate a valid module. I'm therefore building it directly in xml, which is combersome. regards
