Although we have run CTP with LPL, most of our experiments are done
without LPL. Debugging CTP without LPL would allows us to reason about
what is happening without that extra variable LPL introduces. When you
get the debug traces, it will be great if you can time each debug line
- you can modify whatever you are using to log the packets to print
the current time to the nearest 100 ms for each packet. The beacons
are driven using Trickle timer and we can see if the timers are
getting reset by looking at the timestamp for each packet.

You said your platform does not have serial interface. You can have
the debug logs also use the radio and snoop those debug logs.
