Hi, I have been using a pair of Telos motes for some time now, and I keep receiving some packets on the radio, which I do not send myself. As far as I know, nobody around me is using 802.15.4 radios. Some of the packets have some small errors with respect to the 802.15.4 specification, i.e. I receive packets with type not in the allowed range. What could be giving me this interference? Is Bluetooth or 802.11a/b/g able to send something that could be seen as a 802.15.4 physical frame?
I have not checked if the FCS is correct, but as the radio on the Telos adds the FCS itself, I would assume that it also checks the FCS itself, and drop packet with fail the CRC check. Is this wrong?
