I'm trying to use the GPS on the mts420 sensorboard. I programmed a mica2 mote with the xbow test application (contrib/xbow/apps/XSensorMTS400) and connected it to the sensor board and to the gps antenna. I programmed a second mote with TOS Base and with the xlisten application got data from the first mote and via RF link from the second mote(sensor board), I use tinyos-1.1.7july2004.
I receive two different packets from the mote. One contains sensor data (such as temp, humidity, light, etc) which are correct and another contains the gps information,but all gps packets contain just zeros and don't have a valid reading. I put the GPS sensor outdoor for about 20m, in different places and also I shileded (with aluminum) the mote to prevent the interference between signals, but still nothing happened. Can anybody help me with my problem ?
