Ted Allen (playwright, senior editor of Chicago magazine, and Food and Wine specialist on "Queer Eye for the Straight Guy") earned a B.A. in psychology from Purdue University. Dana Bourne (Science Programming at WGBH in Boston, NOVA series) earned a B.A. in psychology and animal behavior at Spelman College in 1999. Herb Brooks (famous hockey coach; 1980 Olympics win) earned a B.A. in psychology in 1962 from the University of Minnesota. Jerry Bruckheimer (Executive Producer, "CSI: Crime Scene Investigation," "Crimson Tide," "Pirates of the Caribbean") earned a B.A. in psychology from the University of Arizona. Peter M. Butterfield (President and CEO, KIA Motors America) earned a B.A. in psychology in 1976 from Northern Illinois University. Pediatric Neurosurgeon Benjamin S. Carson (Johns Hopkins University) was a 1973 graduate of Yale University with a major in psychology. Yanni Chryssomallis (New Age musician) earned a B.A. in psychology in 1976 from the University of Minnesota. Wesley Craven (horror film director) earned a B.A. in psychology and education at Wheaton College in 1963. Tom Dillon (Manager of Rail Operations, Ringling Brothers and Barnum & Bailey Circus) earned a B.A. in psychology in 1976 from Edinboro University of Pennsylvania. Singer Gloria Estefan received a B.A. in psychology from the University of Miami. Hugh Hefner (Playboy Magazine founder) received a B.A. in psychology from the University of Illinois. Actress Katherine Hepburn earned a B.S. in psychology from Bryn Mawr College. Guy Kawasaki was one of the original Apple Computer employees responsible for marketing of the Macintosh in the 1980s and has authored several books. He has a B.A. in psychology from Stanford University. Henry K. Lee (Reporter, San Francisco Chronicle) earned a B.A. in psychology from the University of California at Berkeley in 1994. Jim McCann, founder and president of 1-800-FLOWERS, holds a B.S. in psychology from John Jay College. Wendy Norris (NASCAR TV pit reporter, SPEED channel) earned a B.A. in psychology in 2000 from the University of North Carolina. Actress Natalie Portman earned a B.A. in psychology from Harvard University.
