Ever notice how such "official lists" leave off the serial killers and the like? I think that Psi Chi must be biased against psych majors who become world famous criminals. :-) -Mike Palij (Psi Chi 1974) New York University P.S. I am genuinely surprised to learn that Hugh Hefner and Wes Craven were psych majors. I'm not sure how I feel about Yanni having been one. However, that 1-800-FLOWERS guy is as good an argument *against* being a psych major as I can imagine. :-) ******************** >From Psi Chi Digest #92... > >Did you know the following famous people were >psychology majors? > >Ted Allen (playwright, senior editor of Chicago >magazine, and Food and Wine specialist on >"Queer Eye for the Straight Guy") earned a B.A. >in psychology from Purdue University. > >Dana Bourne (Science Programming at WGBH >in Boston, NOVA series) earned a B.A. in >psychology and animal behavior at Spelman College >in 1999. > >Herb Brooks (famous hockey coach; 1980 Olympics >win) earned a B.A. in psychology in 1962 from the >University of Minnesota. > >Jerry Bruckheimer (Executive Producer, "CSI: >Crime Scene Investigation," "Crimson Tide," "Pirates >of the Caribbean") earned a B.A. in psychology >from the University of Arizona. > >Peter M.
