Stephen- I do know who the PM is. :) But I haven't a clue about the status of the bill. But the more I read of the literature on when we experience pain the more confused and befuddled I become. I'm almost convinced, to paraphrase Lashley, the necessary conclusion is it isn't possible. Now as to the likelihood of intelligent life in the US Congress. . . Ta! Tim

This is the bill which would require doctors to tell women considering abortions that a fetus feels pain by 20 weeks of age. It's sponsored by Senator Sam Brownback, Kansas Republican. The latest information I was able to obtain is that it was referred to committee on January 24, 2005. Is it still under consideration, or has it been abandoned or defeated? Surely, even if you people don't know who the Prime Minister of Canada is, you should know that, right? Stephen ___________________________________________________ Stephen L.
