Tim,   You should be able to make the images for yourself with Audacity http://audacity.sourceforge.net/ . I rediscovered this freeware program in an article in the most recent issue of Teaching of Psychology.   Firment, M. J. (2006). The 17KHz.wav is indeed 17Khz.  The mosquito_sound_wave is 16Khz. The 2006010_Ringtone is a mere 15Khz.
