I mentioned in a previous email to the list that pictures of Donder's equipment might be available in the paper copy of either the special issue of Acta Psychologica or the edited volume of that issue by Koster (Attention and Performance II [2]). I've been able to locate a copy of the Koster volume and between pages 408 and 409 are several black and white photographs, one of a portrait of Donders and the rest full page photos of the RT devices that Donders used (4 photos in all). Again, these are followed by several articles by Donders (his classic paper on the subtractive method and other papers describing the equipment he used to measure RT). I wasn't able to find the pages with photos on the Science Direct website which has PDF copies of the articles in the special issue of Acta Psychologica devoted to Donders. If anyone does find, it might be good idea to let the list know. If they can't be found, it might be a good idea to notify the Science Direct folks that their electronic version of this issue is incomplete. -Mike Palij New York University [EMAIL PROTECTED] ---
