Highly recommend both books written my Atul Gwande about how our medical
profession works (and doesn't work). Naturally, there are major
psychological components to many of his fascinating narratives. Excerpts
from both of his books, "Complications" and "Better," have both been
published in the New Yorker, which speaks volumes for the quality of his
writing. Enjoy!
