As the only prolific divergent thinker on Tips, there is a report that a pediatric neurosurgeon in Colorado has found a toe inside the the brain of a neonate. I was just thinking of that homunculus figure that depicts a cross-section of the brain with various reference points for feet, fingers, mouth, lips, and toes.It would seem to me that to find a toe in the brain is an exception to the idea of cephalo-caudal progression in Developmental psychology.
