For something very short, try "I feel I am trapped inside my head,
banging against its walls..." which is part of a first person account in
the NY Times in 1986. The link is
http://query.nytimes.com/gst/fullpage.html?sec=health&res=9A0DE7D8113CF93BA25750C0A960948260&scp=1&sq=archives%20%20Can%20I%20ever%20forget%20I%20have%20schizophrenia&st=cse
or go to the Times and type in archives and the part of the quotation.
Sorry, I don't know how to do tiny URLs. I often read parts of the
piece in my classes.
