There is a Nova program on a girl (called Genie) allegedly kept in a closet throughout her development. It is titled "Secrets of the Wild Child". I believe there may have been a follow-up program as well. The facts about her history are unclear and whether or not her disabilities can be attributed to her deprivation can never be determined.
