The Prince George’s Community College Department of Psychology and Argosy University are sponsoring the 11th Annual Mid-Atlantic Teachers of Psychology (MATOP) conference on the teaching of psychology on Friday Octpober 30.. Early registration is $50 and has been extended until September 15 due to some website issues.
Keynote Address Dr. Robin Hailstorks of the Education Directorate of the American Psychological Association will discuss "The Future of Psychology Education." Her talk will focus on the results of the Puget Sound Conference, held in June 2008. Other sessions include teaching the AP Psychology course, active learning techniques, information literacy collaborations, in-class quizzing and memory enhancement.
