Assistant Professor of Psychology
St. Ambrose University, Tenure Track Assistant Professor of Psychology (pending funding). Ph.D. or Psy.D. by August, 2010 required. Preference will be given to applicants who are able to teach in at least two of the following areas: Child Development, Child Psychopathology, Statistics, or Brain and Behavior. Successful candidates will have firm commitment to excellent teaching and interest in mentoring student research in area of expertise. The Psychology Department currently has seven full time professors and over 150 undergraduate majors. St. Ambrose University is a Catholic, liberal arts, diocesan university that emphasizes excellence in teaching and ongoing professional development. Total institutional enrollment is over 3,700 students. St. Ambrose is located in Davenport, Iowa, one of the Quad Cities, a vibrant and diverse metropolitan area with a population of more than 350,000.
