I agree with the comments made by many of you, e.g., too many adjuncts,
they don't do advising, committee work, etc.
I would say that you need a union, or a clause in your contracts
addressing this issue. Our contract says that if we have full time
adjuncts for 2-3 consecutive years, the school must open another tenure
track line. We don't have the problem of 30-50% of the faculty being
adjuncts that teach 1-2 courses a year.
