rape sublimated?

My local TV station carried a story about a woman who goes skydiving
on the yearly anniversary date of her rape incident.
Her explanation was that she felt an adrenaline rush when the intruder
broke into her house to rape her.Her rationale for going skydiving
was to experience that adrenaline rush again but this time to turn it
into some constructive and positive activity.
