UNIVERSITY OF NORTHERN IOWA, DEPARTMENT OF PSYCHOLOGY: Invites 
applications for a 1-year appointment in HEALTH PSYCHOLOGY, beginning
Fall, 1999. Appointment will be made at the instructor level for
applicants who have not completed requirements for the Ph.D. or at the
Assistant Professor level for those who have earned the Ph.D. Teaching
responsibilities will include courses in Research Methods and Health
Psychology. Applicants in all areas of health psychology will be
considered; those candidates with strong methodological skills, evidence
of research productivity, and teaching experience will be given
preference. The University of Northern Iowa is a state-supported
university with an enrollment of approximately 13,000 students and 700
faculty located in the Cedar Falls-Waterloo metropolitan area with a
population of approximately 110,000. The institution places an emphasis on
quality undergraduate teaching. The Department of Psychology consists of
12 full-time Ph.D. faculty members, with an additional 3 half-time faculty
members representing all major areas of psychology. There are
approximately 400 undergraduate majors and 25 graduate students in an M.A.
