I'd like to second the Bordens and Abbott text. Although I like the other
text, B&A has a greater breath of coverage in areas that our students
really use e.g., observational research. Overall our students have been
quite happy with it and keep if for later reference. I also move the
chapters around so that QAPA style is covered before they have labs due,
but that is easy to do. Some of our less prepared students find the stats
reviews chapters rather difficult, but that's true of most texts.
