One reason for having the dept. supply scantrons is that then the
instructor doesn't have to check each student's scantron to see if the student
may have made some extra notes to him/herself on the scantron. This is part
of our rationale for supplying the scantrons to the instructor to take to
class: it removes one avenue for academic dishonesty.
