Perhaps psychologists should say that a lasting emotional reaction to serious tradgedy isn't madness nor islamophobia, and that the tough "SHOULD be open minded" Americans need to be treated with care and respect also. Perhaps, as some have suggested, it's too soon, and/or the location should be other than particularly close to ground zero.
