Unfortunately even the notion of reinforcement was not mentioned with
precision: no one reinforce afro-americans or European-american boys but
some of their behaviors. Anyway I think that the intention of his discourse
was very well captured by everybody. Then it is a very good example to
mention to students of something being well captured by common-sense but at
the same time where it lacks precision.
