And here is the funny part.  the whole reason that TIVO couldn't find
my router was because the router was on WPA while TIVO needs to be
WEP.  Once I changed my router to WEP, TIVO was able to find the
router on its own, get an IP address and the network is working
smoothly.  The only thing left now is to get the IR blaster channel
changer to work!

I have been moving that IR Blaster all around.  I wonder if there are
strong, better IR blasters that produce a better signal.  Could that
be the issue?
