I love that free speech exists here. If the root of the internet didn’t stand for free speech, the rest of its branches would be doomed. This is why the ever expanding moderator power is dangerous. > 3. Andrew Lee is not banned from the mailing list, but Daniel Bernstein is. > There’s some merit in responding to this. There’s been a few times that my name has invoked enough emotional response from participants to even seemingly cause a divergence or fork from the subject matter at hand. This is absolutely disruptive, and ever moreso than the completely on-topic and sound arguments Dr. Bernstein has presented for which he has been banned. > One would not expect Andrew Lee to be more conducive to TLS-related > discussions than Daniel Bernstein. > I agree. To be fair, you can make Andrew Lee a non constant variable in that string and if evaluated for truth as a boolean would always remain a constant true. Again, this makes the fact that Dr. Bernstein’s participation has been moderated alarming. _______________________________________________ TLS mailing list -- [email protected] To unsubscribe send an email to [email protected]
