Howdy list, I recently had a user "bounce" or "redirect" an e-mail that originated in an external network to an internal TMDA user.
The gentleman who "redirect"ed this email was using Pegasus- Mail, and Pegasus-Mail added a "resent-from" header, but pretty much left the rest of the message alone. We currently whitelist all of the domains internal to our network so that trusted users can freely send emails without having to confirm to each other. As far as I know, the filter, "from-file", only checks the envelope SENDER and FROM headers. Is there a way that I could get "from-file" to check the "resent-from" header too? Would there be any hidden complications with doing so? I'd like my users to be able to redirect emails to each other using TMDA without having to confirm, and without choosing a new MUA.
