Ok, sorry for all these posts. But I've managed to get some more
information.
I'm running qmail with vpopmail/mysql, virtual hosts on Redhat 9
My tmda-ofmipd start script:
su -l vpopmail -c '/usr/local/tmda/bin/tmda-ofmipd -d -A
"/home/vpopmail/bin/vchkpw /bin/true" -S
/usr/local/tmda/contrib/vpopmail-vdir.sh' >>/var/log/ofmipd.log 2>&1
When first run the log results are:
tmda-ofmipd started at Fri Nov 28 16:55:03 EST 2003
Listening on experimental.dev:8025
And I'm able to make a connection from a shell:
# telnet experimental.dev 8025
Trying 192.168.2.4...
Connected to experimental.dev.
Escape character is '^]'.
220 experimental.dev ESMTP tmda-ofmipd
quit
221 Bye
But... when i try to send mail I get:
An unknown error has occurred. Account: '[EMAIL PROTECTED]', Server:
'mail.experimental.dev', Protocol: SMTP, Server Response: '502 Error:
command "HELO" not implemented', Port: 8025, Secure(SSL): No, Server Error:
502, Error Number: 0x800CCC64
And the log results are:
Incoming connection from ('192.168.2.100', 1318)
Incoming connection to ('192.168.2.4', 8025)
Peer: ('192.168.2.100', 1318)
Data: 'HELO WKONE'
I can send fine if I use port 25 but not the required 8025.
Any thoughts?
