I've now checked in a -P / --pure-proxy option to tmda-ofmipd that
accomplishes this.  You can get this new code via CVS, or in the
latest unstable snapshot tarball.

If you try this new option and have problems, I'd prefer they be
discussed on the tmda-workers list.
