I'm installing tmda/tmda-cgi on a new system. I have tmda-cgi configured to run in system-wide mode (see below for snip of configure.ini). My cgi-bin directory is configured fine, but when I login to the cgi interface and say 'yes sign me up', I get the following error:

tmda-cgi cannot continue because a terminal error has been encountered.
Error: Install aborted.
Cause: Re-importing Defaults
non-qmail users must define DELIVERY in /home/senjiro/.tmda/config
Additional: Running in no-su mode.
Attempted to install TMDA with euid 500, egid 500.
Recommend: Check file permissions in home directory.

.tmda is not a valid directory in my home dir. THose are the correct euid/egid's... and my home dir is writeable by myself. The odd thing I thought was the "Running in no-su mode" when I configured for 'system wide'...

any thought on why the tmda.cgi script would execute in no-su instead of system wide?

few other bits:
-rws--s--x 1 root root 14667 Mar 31 13:26 /usr/local/apache/cgi-bin/tmda.cgi
