I forgot to add "protocol=smtp" to my stunnel conf. Now my stunnel conf reads:
[tofmipd] accept=8825 connect=8025 protocol=smtp
And the abbreviated stunnel log now reads:
... tofmipd connecting 127.0.0.1:8025 remote connect #1 (127.0.0.1:8025): Connection refused (146) Failed to initialize remote connection tofmipd finished (0 left)
This sound like tmda-ofmipd itself isn't running, or isn't binding its server socket to the 127.0.0.1 address.
Check out the -p option to tmda-ofmipd (docs from source):
-p <host:port>
--proxyport <host:port>
The host:port to listen for incoming connections on. The
default is FQDN:8025 (i.e, port 8025 on the fully qualified
domain name for the local host). If I recall correctly, using 0 for host will bind to all available IP addresses on your machine... I *could* be wrong on this - check it with "netstat -an".
