VPOPMAIL accepts the "." in the local part of the virtual address and I´m
using this pattern for more than two years without a problem. We have a lot
of e-mails like this and We can´t change. Is there a way to configure qmail
to use "." instead of "-"?
I didn´t set any users/assign. I´m using the qmailadmin to create, update
and delete my virtual e-mails.
The vadduser-tmda script creates properly ".qmail-user" files, but TMDA just
works to e-mails that don´t have extension.

Make sure you also have a .qmail-user-default file that's a symlink to .qmail-user.

I guess if you're using . as the delimiter and it's been working before, then the vpopmail installation must have already correctly configured qmail. That said, it sounds odd, but I've never used vpopmail.
