Hi there,

I have had TM since Sept 6/03. I see the physiatrist twice a year. When I was released from the hospital in Oct 31/03 the specialist told me then that I was to still see my own GP for regular check-ups as well. He said that I would still need my 'general' health looked after and that TM was something all on it's own or something to that effect.

TM came to live with me 12/96. I still see my neuro every 6 months. I
can't imagine anyone with this type of disease to not return for
checkups!!!! I would look for a new neuro ASAP.

As for amantadine, my neuro put me on it in '97. I only took it for a
short time due to the vivid dreams I had. I didn't notice any change in
my fatigue.

Not all meds affect us the same way, I guess.
