Hi Bill,
You have a lot to offer this special group - I guess this note is just to encourage you to post more often - even just to say hi.  We all try to be supportive of each other - none of us have all the answers to anything.  And I certainly am one of those! Because who knows about this disease and what course it might take?? Not even the doctors most of the time. But your support means so much to all of us. Looking to hear more from you!!

Good morning folks,

Grace, I so hope your vision does improve after finishing the IV Solumedrol.  Not to discourage you but my eyesight did just the opposite.  Let me say I really have no idea what caused it but I can't help but wonder if the steroids or other medication caused mine to deteriorate.

I have worn glasses most of my life and have always tried to have an eye exam ever couple of years if there were no problems.  Because of the TM I had not has one for 3 years and I'm sure the only reason I thought to go now was my eyesight had gotten so bad I could hardly see to drive.  I could not see TV very well from across the room.  When I had the exam a month ago, my eyesight was 20/80.  The legal limit to drive in GA is 20/80.  Boy, what a difference new glasses has made.

I did not write this to discourage you, I wrote it to encourage you to have your eyes checked on a regular basis.  Maybe if I had gotten mine checked sooner they would not be this bad.

Also hello to everyone.  I still don't post alot because all of you have much more wisdom that I do about TM.  But I read the posts everyday and more important than that, my wife reads them everyday.  I think reading them has helped her to understand TM more and therefore she understand what is happening with me when I tell her some new symptom has popped up.  Thanks to all of you.
