I'm not sure if the 'splotches' I have are like yours but mine happened to start on my one foot. They were a reddish brown color and everywhere they were, my skin would just begin to peel off. Of course, I couldn't feel anything and I was given an RX for some cortisone cream which did help.
Now, I'm getting it on the same foot only along the outside. The skin just flakes off in big patches. I used some good skin cream and immediately the rash gets better. It's really kind of strange because I've been reading others that have what sounds like the same thing...at least the splotches. I would be interested in knowing if their skin gets flaky and falls off like mine.
