Yes, I did lose the use of my arms and hands. I have partial use of my left arm. I cannot lift it up any higher than my bust line, and I also have partial use of my fingers. It has been three years, and I am just able to hold a fork to feed myself. It gets very messy, but is more satisfying than having someone else feed me. I still have no use of the right side of my body.
