Up AND Down. Up to do as much as you can. Down when you're tired.

Listen to your body, even when it's yelling at you. Learn its new language.

When my foot swelling and flopping annoy I return to the boots I
was given back in the nursing home. They're annoying to strap myself
in, but when I wake, I  have  pretty feet and skinny toes again.
