Jim my doctors aren't positive but I had a very severe case of shingles in the past before TM. It was the worst experience that I have ever had. The pain for over a week was worse than when I had my children. It took over 2 years before the sores and pain were completely gone, so I too don't want to ever go through that again. I am afraid to have the shot thinking it might bring on another bout with TM. It is a tough decision to make. You have to give it a lot of thought, but for me right now I will pass on the shot.
