Brina, I couldn't agree more. If you are uncertain what to keep and throw away from your stories, it's best to keep it all... and Brina, that's a GREAT suggestion that I'd never thought of: an OUTTAKES PAGE! :D
More advice... Map out your stories... A major contributor to writer's block and stories that just don't make sense is that many people just start writing and posting chapters (::cough::me::cough::) ... What good is writing/reading a story if an ending is tentative? Figure out basic story structure and apply it: exposition, initial incident, rising action, climax, falling action, and denouement... Yes, something that stuck with me in high school, but not enough to impact my writing >:p -Mikey QM
