Fear of babies...yes, this is ON-topic!

I know exactly how you feel.  When my baby cousin Jenna was born I was automatically chosen to be a babysitter because I was supposedly the right age for such things...(blah blah blah... my parents like to assume things that aren't really true most times).  At first I was a wreck, being left to babysit a little baby girl all day by myself, but to tell the truth after I saw her smile and giggle for the first time when I held her and knew it was because I was just there and not because I made a giggley face made me go into "mother mode".  It was weird, when I knew there was almost a understanding, I guess that is what you would call it,  it was like I loosened up and just had fun.  I guess what I'm trying to say is that you just need to relax, which I know is hard.  Just try and take it on thing at a time.

What amazes me is watching Josh with Tristan.  This is a kid I knew since long as I can remember and now he's a daddy with a baby!  I know GW told me I shouldn't do it because I feel uncomfortable but now, it's getting to the point where they're stuck.  I don't have a job so since I have free time, and they really can't afford a sitter, they're wanting me to sit longer with Tristan.  As my uncle put it yesterday, "So, you came here to learn Baby 101?"  I said, "Maaaaaybe...."  It's such a pressure and a strain for me but I don't want to let them down.  Kat works very hard and all her money goes to bills and car payments.  Josh is going trying to get a job at Cosco in Carlsbad so he'd be gone all day as well.  It's also the fact that I need to work.  Unemployment helps but it's not enough.
Oh before I forget, I think it would be a great idea for you to write that fanfic.  Even if you might think it may be hypocritical.  Just think of it as a learning experience, if you have to learn from it so do they..lol.

LOL!  I don't know.  I did toy with a story but was soooo afraid to share it with everyone.  I'm surprised I shared the "Three Turtles and a Baby" manip picture to you all.  It's not really in their nature to do that kind of thing.  I mean, the guys are ninjas!  Not baby-sitters!  Fics need to have a lot of action-packed scenes!  That's why that one cartoon episode, "Four Turtles and a Baby" really floored me.  Well, I also laughed till tears poured out of my eyes because the villains were so damn hilarious.  We'll see.  I'll probably get stuck baby-sitting one of these days and then I'll have something to write about it.  But, I won't change his diaper until my uncle does it first!  Let's see how long that goes.....and how much yelling will erupt from that!
