Yeah, I agree. I'm not at all worried about who they picked, as I'm
sure they wouldn't be that left-field in picking what suits each
character.
I think they all sound okay. The clips did sound as it they are the
tryout clips, with to much emphasis than normal.
Don's voice threw me for a loop too. He didn't have a hint of geeky
nasalness like he used to before. In fact, I thought he kinda sounded
like Michael J Fox (when he was younger)! ><
Raph's okay... but as I had wondered in the movie, why does his voice
sound so much like a New Yorker's, but non of the others did? If they
all had a hint of the accent, it would have made more sense. (Goes
back to her theory that Raph listened to the people on the streets
more, while the only Turtles heard the cleaner accents from those on
TV)
Leo, on the other hand, I love what his VA has done for him! It sounds
perfect to my ears: not too whiney, and not too deep. :D Mikey's
sounds like Mikey too, especially after his stint on the Fake News.
That really sounded like what we're used too. Like a cross of movie
with the cartoon verison.
The other characters sound suiting too. Even shredder's sounds better
that the same in the intro. (I assume he was in his robot mode then)
I'm also excited to see the whole clip they had on the Miragesite, on
the TV this morning too! Which was well worth having to endure the
tackiness of Ultraman Tiga... ;p
