Brina: >Dawn!!! Hey girlfriend! *hugs* Long time no see! *hugs back* Yeah...
>> Thought I fell off the face of the earth? Heh...well...my SITE did >> at least... > >OMG! That's too bad! It was an awesome site and will surely be missed! Well, actually, Fugitoid contacted me and uploaded my files into the server again so I could download them. So no worries! >People have been begging to read your Changes Trilogy so when you >have time, try to get those up for them. :) Yikes...WHY???? Heh...sorry...it's just that the trilogy is NOT my best writing...*cringe* But yeah...right now I'm working on the art section, and once I get that done, I'll move on to fanfics. >Oh, and speaking of free time, I have something to say, but it probably >won't happen and I'm just wasting text space here. Mom picked up a >newsletter on our town for recreation activities and while I skimmed it, I >came across a class for Taekwondo. The fee is $70 for 11 weeks and the >sessions are only two days per week. A martial arts uniform is required and >can be purchased for an additional $25 from the instructor. Hey, that's pretty cheap!! I seriously >considered signing up because it's good exercise and I want to learn a form >of self-defense but I had to hear from my family of the usual 'it cost too >much' or 'why would you want to do that? Because of the TMNT?' I don't >have $70 to shell out for something like that but I feel like I'm going to >miss out on a huge opportunity. Ahhh yeah...I can understand that. When money is tight, ANYTHING is a bit too much. But I see your point. $70 is a very NICE price for 11 weeks of training, and $25 for a gi is actually very inexpensive. Did you feel the same way when you started >taking karate lessons? Did you feel like if you didn't sign up, you would >regret it? Yes, definitely! I had been thinking of joining up for quite some time, and finally it just got to a point where I HAD to do it. I'm really glad I did.
